Background
Polysorbate 80 is an amber colored, viscous liquid. It is used as an emulsifier
and dispersing agent. Polyoxyethylenesorbitan monooleateis an oleate ester
of sorbitol and its anhydrides copolymerized with approximately 20 moles
of ethylene oxide for each mole of sorbitol and sorbitol anhydrides.
